Job summary

Horizontal Digital is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a consulting mindset to join our growing team. You will cultivate high-performing teams, act as a trusted advisor to clients, and drive delivery excellence with speed and quality on programs/projects.

You will partner with clients to identify needs and challenges, leveraging Agile and hybrid practices to deliver exceptional results while mentoring junior staff and leading cross-functional teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading digital projects/programs.
• 2+ years agency/consultancy experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) preferred.
• Experience with Smartsheet and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex projects end-to-end or multiple mid-size projects.
• Advise on delivery strategies; implement agile and product delivery methods.
• Create and manage detailed project plans based on chosen framework.
• Manage budgets, burn rate, velocity; report on margins.
• Identify risks and maintain RAID logs; escalate as needed.
• Be primary client contact for delivery and build strong relationships.
• Understand scope; manage changes and change orders as needed.
• Mentor junior program managers and team members.
