Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Specialist Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer to join a hybrid team near Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on designing advanced DSP controls for three‑phase UPS systems and energy storage products while enabling a robust product lifecycle from concept to production.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of real-time digital controls experience.
- MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in real-time controls.
- PhD with 2+ years of experience in real-time controls.
Responsibilities
- Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements and Eaton safety, quality, reliability, cost and schedule commitments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technical team members.
- Collaborate with global product teams to solve performance, safety and reliability challenges.
- Develop and validate DSP control algorithms for power electronics in QA/production environments.
- Create real-time simulations and validate designs using MATLAB/Simulink and OPAL-RT.
