Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Specialist Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role will be based near Raleigh, NC with relocation benefits for US residents.

You will design real-time DSP control algorithms for three-phase UPS systems and energy storage products, collaborating with global teams. A strong background in power electronics and MATLAB/Simulink is essential to succeed and advance in this role within a dynamic,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher with required years of experience in real-time digital controls.
Experience with real-time digital controls and algorithms for power electronics or industrial products.

Responsibilities

Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements, safety, quality and schedule commitments.
Provide guidance and leadership to other technical project team members.
Work with global product development teams to solve performance, safety, reliability and component issues.
Develop mathematical models and algorithms for advanced DSP controls of power electronics products.
Develop simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and verify designs through simulations.
