Eaton is seeking a Specialist Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer to join our hybrid team near Raleigh, NC. You will design and develop real-time DSP controls for high-power UPS and energy storage products, guiding cross-functional colleagues through the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years real-time digital controls experience.
• MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience in real-time controls.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years experience in real-time controls.

Responsibilities

• Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements and Eaton commitments.
• Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional project teams.
• Collaborate with global product teams to optimize performance, safety and reliability.
• Develop DSP control algorithms for power electronics systems.
• Validate designs with real-time simulations and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
