Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years’ supervisory experience in a skilled nursing care center, hospital or other related medical center.
• Must be certified in an accredited course in Dietetic training approved by the AND and/or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct dietary department operations per regulations.
• Interview patient/family to determine food preferences and diet history.
• Ensure accurate documentation in medical records and compliance with care plans.
• Review diet orders for accuracy and adherence to menus.
• Supervise tray line service and maintain sanitary kitchen conditions.
