Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician II in Middlefield, OH. You will perform preventive maintenance and major/minor repairs on a diverse fleet, with opportunities to lean on advanced maintenance tech and Penske training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components; ASE Certification and 608/609 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance services with little or no supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
