Qualifications

• 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 preferred.
• Willing to travel within the district as needed.
• Able to comply with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and fix engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and learn from peers.
• Work with team to meet schedules and safety standards.
• Follow DOT and Penske safety procedures and trainings.
