Job summary

Pilot Company in Paramount, CA is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and routine services on company trucks and trailers, following manufacturer guidelines and DOT rules. You will prepare vehicles for inspections and coordinate parts and repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting work in the RO electronic system, maintaining service trucks, replacing tires, handling roadside calls, and completing additional maintenance tasks listed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance preferred.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with RO electronic recordkeeping system preferred.
• Knowledge of truck components and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on trucks and trailers per guidelines.
• Obtain parts from vendors and respond to service calls as needed.
• Inspect vehicles and document work in the RO system.
• Maintain service trucks and ensure asset security and organization.
• Replace tires and perform roadside tire repairs as required.
• Complete additional maintenance tasks listed for the role.
