Zusammenfassung

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking, engine and HVAC systems. You will diagnose multi-system issues and work with scan tools to ensure reliable operation.

The role emphasizes on-site maintenance within a single fleet of state-of-the-art equipment, with opportunities for training, growth, and competitive wages and benefits as described in our program.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some heavy truck systems.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus but not required.

• Maintains advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs complex repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; Air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Engine repair and diagnostics.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems diagnostics and repair.
• Heating and air conditioning systems diagnostics and repair.
• Aftertreatment systems, REGEN and diagnostics.
