Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I at our Fresno location. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across vehicles, mentoring peers while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You’ll engage with advanced diagnostics, learn Penske’s maintenance processes, and benefit from top-tier training and career growth opportunities in a strong, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Specialized training and experience diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
• Repair major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) including assemblies.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools; perform basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Handle other projects as assigned by supervisor.
