Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician in Fresno, CA to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet.

You will work on engines, transmissions and other major components, using Penske tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road. The role requires 6 years of practical experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, ASE and 608/609 certifications preferred, and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience with engines, transmissions, differentials; OEM training courses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair major components like engines, transmissions, differentials; replace assemblies.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, diagnose, and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
