Penske Truck Leasing Fresno is seeking an experienced Technician I to maintain and repair a diverse fleet, performing preventive and major services with limited supervision. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and replace components while mentoring others and learning the latest Penske maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis and troubleshooting of engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Experienced using welding, diagnostic and hand/power tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles to ensure safety and road readiness.
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Diagnosing major components and replacing assemblies as needed.
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Utilizing Penske tools to log and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Learning through Penske’s technician training programs.
• Collaborating on additional projects as directed by supervisor.
