Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and ASE-608/609 certifications.
• Experience with tools of the trade including welding, diagnostic equipment, and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and replace assemblies as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe; log and research repairs using Penske tools.
