Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician in Norcross, GA to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with Penske’s maintenance processes and cutting‑edge tools to keep vehicles safe and on the road, gaining hands‑on experience with a variety of OEM equipment.

This role offers 1st or 2nd shift, competitive pay, solid benefits, and extensive training through Penske’s Technician Certification Program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical vehicle repair certification preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT safety requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and tool-handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication; ability to work in a team and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Use Penske tools and diagnostic equipment to log, research and complete repairs.
• Rotate tires, basic electrical and cooling system maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor to learn skills through Penske training and coaching.
• Take on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
