Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a skilled Technician in Austell, GA to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet.

You will work with experienced supervisors and technicians, using Penske’s cutting-edge tools and training to grow your career in a safety-first environment. Take part in a role with no two days the same, a strong focus on safety, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and component replacements on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and coaching with your manager.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by supervisor.
