Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Fleet Technician III to diagnose, repair and maintain class 8 tractors and trailing equipment across diesel engines, powertrains, electrical and HVAC systems. You will perform PMs and prepare equipment for delivery.

The role requires proficiency with diagnostic tools, welding, and a valid CDL may be preferred; strong safety focus and DOT compliance are essential. Minimum four years' experience and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational / Technical or certification preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred, and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust and repair all systems on class 8 tractors and trailing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services and repair as needed.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Mentor other technicians and provide repair guidance as needed.
• Ensure DOT compliance and document work completed.
