Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician III to master all preventative maintenance across vehicle systems and train other technicians. The role covers advanced diagnostics, component replacements, and ensuring high-quality repairs for heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Ideal candidates have a Diesel Technology Associates degree with 7+ years in Class 7 & 8 trucks and experience repairing 53’ trailers, plus strong customer service and safety records in a non-climate controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox.
• Ability to train Technicians and maintain a perfect safety record.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on vehicle systems.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspensions, and driveline components.
• Overhaul diesel and gasoline engines and repair fuel systems.
• Test drive vehicles and inspect orders for quality.
• Train new technicians and maintain workspace.
