Hub Group is seeking a Fleet Technician 3 to diagnose, repair and maintain class 8 tractors and trailing fleet equipment, including diesel engines, electrical, brake, cooling, transmissions, differentials, and aftertreatment systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, road tests, and ECM/ECU diagnostics, requiring tool proficiency and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. The role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years practical tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• HS diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical cert preferred.
• Experience with diesel engines, transmissions, differentials and OEM training preferred.
• Must be able to read English and communicate effectively.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain class 8 tractors and trailing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tire repairs as needed.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Perform road tests to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Mentor junior technicians and document work orders clearly.
