Hub Group is seeking a Fleet Technician III in Mesquite, TX to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of class 8 tractors and trailing equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and component repairs, with welding capabilities as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and own tools preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational / Technical or certification preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service and relationship building skills.
• Expert understanding of fleet maintenance policies, DOT standards and industry practices.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair class 8 tractor and trailing fleet equipment, including diesel engines, electrical, brakes, HVAC and aftertreatment systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services and tire repairs as needed.
• Inspect, test and diagnose malfunctions using test instruments and diagnostic software.
• Welding (mig, tig) in non-standard situations and on varying materials.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and ensure DOT compliance.
