Job summary

Sysco seeks a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on a wide range of company vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose electrical and refrigeration systems, perform mechanical repairs and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules, OSHA, and environmental regulations.

The role requires heavy-duty vehicle technical training, ASE certifications, EPA refrigerant handling credentials, and the ability to work independently at a Sysco facility in Charlotte,

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training.
• 5 years of fleet maintenance and repair experience or equivalent.
• ASE certifications and EPA 608/609 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct FAI/CVI inspections per regulations on all fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Complete work orders and document all maintenance activities.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I/II; assist as needed in supervisory roles.
