Job summary

Sysco Northern New England, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fleet Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of vehicles.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics to minimize downtime and optimize reliability for on-road and on-site equipment. You will diagnose engines, transmissions, electrical and HVAC systems, perform quality repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• Current and valid driver\'s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within time tolerances.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and other equipment as required.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspensions, electrical systems and HVAC per manufacturer specs.
• Document all work on work orders and maintain records.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist in their development.
