Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.

You will diagnose issues across engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems, follow work orders, maintain tools, and comply with DOT and OSHA regulations. Some travel may be required; a current and valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles to maximize safety and cost efficiency.
• Perform Annual inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports timely and efficiently.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions, drive-lines, and electrical systems per manufacturer specs.
• Document all work on work orders and learn Sysco computer programs.
