Sysco, a leader in foodservice distribution, seeks a skilled Fleet Technician to inspect and maintain a large vehicle fleet, ensuring safety and reliability. The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.

You will perform annual inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and document work orders while mentoring junior technicians and possibly assuming supervisory duties when managers are unavailable.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required with technical training beneficial.
• Medium/heavy-duty truck knowledge and EPA/608 certification ideal.
• Experience in fleet maintenance and repair is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform quality maintenance and repairs per company methods on all fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Document work orders and follow procedures for each task.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I/II to support development.
