Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.

You will diagnose issues, follow manufacturer specifications, and complete work orders using Sysco systems. The role requires knowledge of electrical, engine, and transmission systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• HD truck tech training or equivalent and a high school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within planned time tolerances.
• Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and other equipment per federal/state regulations.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specs (engines, transmissions, electrical, brakes, HVAC).
• Follow procedures and document all work on work orders.
• Utilize Sysco computer programs for work orders and diagnostics.
• Learn and use electrical meters and related diagnostic tools.
• Perform welding and cutting as needed.
