Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance inspections, diagnose issues, and repair trucks and related equipment to keep the fleet safe and reliable.

Qualified candidates have medium/heavy-duty truck tech training and a current driver’s license, with ASE and inspector certifications preferred. Tools provided by the employee with some OEM software required for diagnostics.

Qualifications

Medium/Heavy Duty truck tech training completed.
High school diploma or GED required.
ASE certifications preferred but not required.
Annual/Brake inspector certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections in planned time frames.
Conduct Annual inspections on fleet vehicles per regulations.
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and HVAC systems.
Document work orders and follow Sysco procedures.
Utilize diagnostic software and maintain tools for repairs.
