Job summary

Clinician Nexus is seeking a DevOps Manager to lead the Platform Engineering DevOps team. This working manager role combines leadership with hands-on engineering, guiding CI/CD, IaC, and observability across AWS multi-account environments.

You will partner with engineering, data platform, governance, and IT to deliver secure, scalable platform capabilities and drive reliability, security, and efficiency across the stack. Remote role with multi-state eligibility in the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering with leadership
• Working manager role balancing IC delivery with team leadership
• Terraform IaC in multi-account AWS environments
• Kubernetes (EKS) with GitOps delivery (ArgoCD/Flux)
• GitHub Actions CI/CD with security scanning & self-hosted runners
• Scripting in Python/Bash
• Secrets management with Vault or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers, including performance management and career development
• Own the DevOps roadmap in partnership with Platform Engineering leadership
• Drive architecture reviews for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform tooling
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and IT teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Coach engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and incident retrospectives
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews with runbooks and reliability improvements
• Design and operate infrastructure as code across AWS multi-account setups
