Job summary

Clinician Nexus is seeking a Manager, DevOps to lead a high-performance platform engineering team. The role blends leadership with hands-on engineering across CI/CD, IaC, and platform tooling.

You will drive architecture reviews, manage Kubernetes (EKS) and ArgoCD, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable platform capabilities. Prior leadership in cloud environments is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or team lead capacity
• Demonstrated experience as a working manager or tech lead who balances IC delivery with team leadership
• Deep experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, multi-account AWS Organizations
• Production experience operating Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and GitOps delivery (ArgoCD/ Flux)
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and security scanning
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault and cloud networking (VPCs, private connectivity)

Responsibilities

• Lead a DevOps team with performance management and career development
• Own the DevOps roadmap with quarterly priorities and capacity planning
• Drive CI/CD and infrastructure automation design across cloud environments
• Collaborate with engineering, data platform, governance, and IT on cross-functional standards
• Coach engineers on code review and incident retrospectives
• Lead incident response and publish runbooks for reliability
• Implement security controls and governance across the platform
• Contribute to AWS network architecture and cross-account access patterns
