SullivanCotter Holdings, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Manager to lead the Platform Engineering's DevOps team in a remote, hands-on capacity.

You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, manage Terraform across multi-account AWS, and oversee Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, security, and reliability. This role blends leadership with technical execution and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering with leadership experience.
• Hands-on working manager or tech lead balancing IC work with team leadership.
• Strong IaC with Terraform in multi-account AWS environments.
• Production Kubernetes (EKS) with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD/Flux).
• Solid CI/CD with GitHub Actions, security scanning, and self-hosted runners.
• Strong scripting (Python/Bash) and secret management (Vault).
• Experience with cloud networking, observability, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers with performance management and career development.
• Own the DevOps roadmap in collaboration with Platform Engineering leadership.
• Drive CI/CD architecture for secure, reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and IT teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Coach engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and incident retrospectives.
• Represent the team in executive forums and architecture councils.
• Manage Terraform across multi-account AWS environments and Kubernetes clusters.
• Operate HashiCorp Vault for dynamic credentials and access control.
• Implement security controls and compliance across the platform.
