This on-site role focuses on end-to-end planning and procurement for developmental projects, collaborating closely with engineers to source materials and manage long lead times while coordinating with outside processors. • Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years experience or Associate's degree plus 4+ years experience.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Program Planning & Execution: Analyze engineering drawings and Bills of Materials to determine material and tooling requirements for new programs.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules to ensure all milestones are met.
• Monitor and report on the status of development jobs to Program Managers and customers.
• Strategic Procurement: Source and purchase specialty components according to project specifications.
• Manage Outside Processing (OSP) purchase orders, including tracking and expediting parts sent for heat-treat, plating, etc.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to meet strict program budgets and deadlines.
• Supplier & Quality Management: Resolve supplier non-conformances and other discrepancies in coordination with Quality and Supplier Development Engineering Team.
• Inventory & Systems: Utilize ERP/MRP systems to maintain data integrity for development parts when applicable.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with long-lead items or single-source suppliers.
