Job summary

Moog, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Associate Buyer/Planner Analyst to join our fast-paced operations team. You will help plan, coordinate, and execute production schedules to meet customer commitments at the onsite facility.

You will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and operations to manage material flow, perform capacity analysis, and maintain PBOMs and WIP while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2-year degree with 5+ years experience considered.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required.
• Experience in planning, production control, or supply chain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain planning parameters aligned with material strategies and demand profiles.
• Convert demand signals into work orders per planning systems and processes.
• Monitor material shortages and supplier lead times to protect production schedules.
• Develop achievable and balanced production plans that meet customer demand and capacity.
• Perform capacity analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production needs.
• Escalate schedule impacts and material constraints as needed.
• Maintain PBOMs and Line of Balance analyses and report on progress.
• Support audits and inventory reviews including customer-owned inventory.
• Manage WIP within planner codes and provide clear-to-build status updates.
• Coordinate material movement and planning across Moog facilities to support business needs.
