Job summary

SABG seeks a Deterrence Analyst (Senior) to support USSTRATCOM/J57 deterrence planning and assessment under SWRDS. You will help analyze adversary decision-making, develop deterrence courses of action, and support scenario-based wargaming and experimentation.

The role requires Top Secret with SCI, NC2, and SAP access eligibility, and will be based at USSTRATCOM, Offutt AFB, NE. You will work with government and defense partners to deliver analytic products and reports.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of academic or practical experience in defense policy, strategy, and deterrence related to strategic deterrence.
Master's degree or higher in a related national security field is required.
Knowledge of deterrence theory, models, and strategy.
Experience with game theory and strategic military planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in war game development and execution, including scenario development and lessons learned tracking.
Author professional war game reports documenting analysis and outcomes.
Provide scenario-based deterrence analysis to support OPLAN/CONPLAN deterrence actions.
Develop tools to visually display scenarios and outputs from modeling and simulation.
