Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of experience in U.S. defense policy, strategic deterrence, wargaming, operational planning, or strategic analysis.
Master's degree (or higher) in a related national security field.
Demonstrated knowledge of deterrence theory and deterrence models.
Expertise in professional military wargaming at strategic and operational levels.
Experience with multi-domain, joint, interagency scenario development.

Responsibilities

Support deterrence mission analysis and development of strategies across deterrence periods.
Develop courses of action and measures for deterrent impact assessment.
Contribute to professional military wargaming design, execution, and post-game analysis.
Assist in scenario development for deterrence analysis and strategic competition.
Apply analytic methodologies to deterrence studies and experimentation.
Produce DoW-format reports and briefings for senior leaders.
