Job summary

Wichita Tribal Enterprises, a subsidiary of Quivera Enterprises, LLC, seeks an experienced Desktop Technician IV to provide senior-level technical support and lead desktop initiatives for the DOI/IA enterprise user environment in Washington, DC.

The role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination, and the ability to mentor junior technicians, coordinate enterprise deployments, and develop standardized procedures.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise desktop infrastructure, OS, and software.
• Strong Windows OS and enterprise applications support.
• Advanced troubleshooting for desktops, network, and specialized apps.
• Experience leading technical projects and upgrades.
• Ability to coordinate resources and manage priorities.
• Ability to mentor Desktop Technicians I–III.
• Strong technical documentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical support for complex hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced incidents affecting enterprise desktop environments.
• Serve as escalation resource for desktop technicians.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support Windows OS, enterprise apps, networking, and infrastructure.
• Provide advanced support for GIS, AutoCAD, and mission-critical systems.
• Lead and coordinate desktop technology projects and deployments.
• Develop project schedules and implementation plans.
• Coordinate resources and deployments to meet milestones.
• Monitor progress and identify risks.
• Ensure lifecycle management initiatives.
• Ensure projects comply with security standards.
