Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Jacksonville, FL. You will handle PowerShell and Windows Server tasks, desk-side support, and VIP customer interactions.

Responsibilities include account management, ticket handling, and collaboration across teams. Requires DoD clearance, Windows 10 expertise, and mobility device knowledge; occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• US citizen and DoD Secret Clearance.
• HS diploma with 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10.
• Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar Service/Help Desk ticketing software.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage share drives and public folder permissions.
• Perform Logical Moves.
• Exchange account management.
• User Account management.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Distribution and Security Group management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Blackberry/iPhone/Android mobility solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues including hardware and software concerns.
• Assist junior technicians in resolving complex issues.
• Manage ticket resolutions according to Service Level Requirements.
• Ensure customer requirements and guidelines are met within deadlines.
• Assist other teams in troubleshooting printers and MFDs.
• Assist teams with VoIP and VTC issues.
• Work with VIP and executive-level customers for premier support.
• Some travel required.
