Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Sr-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Indian Head, MD. The role focuses on desk-side and basic network support, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices for VIP and executive customers.
Candidates must hold US citizenship with DoD Secret Clearance and an acceptable DoD 8570 IAT II certification. The position requires travel to multiple locations and effective collaboration with field services teams.
Qualifications
- US Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification.
- HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Experience with Windows 10 and enterprise ticketing systems.
- Basic network troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues including hardware and software.
- Assist junior technicians in resolving complex issues.
- Manage resolution of customer tickets according to SLAs.
- Ensure customer requirements and timelines are met.
- Assist other teams in troubleshooting MFD/printers and network gear.
- Diagnose layer 1 network issues by configuring switch ports.
- Support VoIP and VTC issues for enterprise users.
- Provide premier support to VIP and executive customers.
