Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Indian Head, MD. You will provide deskside and basic network support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist junior techs while handling VIP customers.

The role requires US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher). Salary is paid hourly at $37-40/hr and full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• DoD Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification
• HS diploma with 5+ years of prior relevant experience, additional related education or certifications may be considered in lieu of experience
• Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10
• Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar Service/Help Desk ticket management software
• Basic network troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware/software)
• Assist junior technicians in resolving complex issues
• Manage resolution of customer tickets per SLAs
• Ensure requirements are met within timelines
• Assist with local and networked MFD/printers
• Diagnose and resolve Layer 1 network issues
• Assist with VoIP and VTC issues
• Support VIP and executive-level customers
