Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to provide direct desk-side IT support at a government site in Norco, CA. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist junior technicians, and manage ticket resolution to meet SLAs.

The role requires US citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ or higher) certification, plus strong customer service and communication skills; you’ll provide premier desk-side IT support and coordinate with VIPs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience; additional education or certs may substitute.
• US citizenship and DoD Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification required.
• Experience with Windows OS, service desk ticketing software, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues including hardware and software.
• Assist junior technicians and manage ticket resolution per SLAs.
• Ensure requirements and guidelines are met within client timelines.
• Assist teams with printers, network issues, VoIP, and VTC.
• Provide premier support to VIP and executive customers.
