Job summary

BBVA in Houston seeks an experienced IT support professional to provide advanced desktop and end-user support in a high-pressure banking and trading floor environment. You will handle system administration, VDI, incident resolution, and secure, high-availability IT operations.

Responsibilities include service desk duties for trading and enterprise systems, imaging workstations, patching, and collaboration with global teams to resolve incidents while maintaining security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant IT support experience.
• Microsoft/Cisco certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day service desk support for trading, banking, and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, application, and system performance issues.
• Build, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and VDI environments.
• Manage user accounts, access control, and system configurations.
• Perform OS installations, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support trading floor technologies and voice systems.
• Execute start-of-day and end-of-day operational procedures.
• Maintain Windows and VDI images; manage asset inventory.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve incidents and ensure security compliance.
