Job summary

Edge Technology Group seeks a Client Site Support Engineer to support trading-floor desktop systems for hedge funds and other finance clients. You will interface with engineering, networking, development and operations to ensure high-quality systems functionality and service.

The role requires professionalism, rapid learning of new technologies, and strong communication skills to deliver superior client support in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with trading floor-centric desktop systems and coordinate with engineering, networking, development and operations teams.
• Create and manage standardized desktop images and application packaging; set up computers and software installations.
• Act as on-site presence to test computer systems, identify issues, and escalate to Systems/Network Engineering as needed.
• Work with Network Engineering to resolve networking issues and ensure secure, reliable operations.
• Train client employees on hardware and software usage and ensure timely incident resolution on tickets.
