Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Estimating, or an equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of related experience and demonstrated project leadership during design phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design phase team to ensure customer experience, financial performance, and smooth construction handoff.
• Manage scope, budget, and schedule alignment and ensure readiness for construction.
• Create and monitor project budgets, scope expectations, and budget logs.
• Develop and track schedules and milestones; hold team accountable.
• Obtain regulatory approvals and permits.
• Align design documents with the project execution plan.
• Oversee bid packages and contract manuals.
• Resolve design and specification issues.
• Develop or review margin plans to minimize risk and improve opportunities.
• Be the primary contact with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Mentor design phase team members and support career growth.
• Lead designer selection and contracting for design-build projects.
• Present project proposals to stakeholders.
