Mortenson Construction is seeking a Technology Engineer I - Structured Cabling to support planning, installation, testing, and turnover of building technology and low-voltage systems. The role partners with project teams and trade partners to ensure safe, high-quality execution aligned with contract documents and commissioning closeout.

The position offers flexibility with the Minneapolis, MN base and potential for 100% remote work; travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building technology and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Comfort with RFIs/CCDs and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basis of design and constructability reviews.
• Support project planning and track milestones.
• Assist with RFIs, CCDs, and as-built documentation; communicate field impacts.
