Job summary

Amazon Prime Video is seeking a Senior Design Operations partner to scale design and research operations across programs, coordinating planning, prioritization, and governance in a fast-moving environment. You will work with UX leadership, designers, researchers, engineers, and PMs to deliver innovative experiences and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design program management experience.
• Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions.
• Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational strategy for complex design programs end to end, where the strategy and operating model are not yet defined.
• Partner with UX leadership on key decisions and own the design roadmap, scheduling, prioritization, and budgeting.
• Own programs from concept to delivery, including design decisions and escalations.
• Define the operational tool and AI strategy, govern adoption, and decide where AI-augmented workflows are appropriate.
• Build automated workflows that scale design and research operations and evaluate new tools.
• Lead design delivery by managing backlogs, removing obstacles, and coordinating reviews.
• Design change strategies for org-wide shifts, measure adoption, and balance pace with capacity.
• Standardize and improve our user-centered design process and related infrastructure.
• Act as a bridge between UX, Engineering, PM and other partners, aligning interdependencies.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance customer needs with business goals.
• Define success metrics and connect them to business outcomes in planning and reviews.
• Enable creative solutions and distinguish one-way vs two-way doors.
• Promote transparency and community across the team.
