Job summary

Amazon's design organization seeks a Senior Design Operations leader to own a portfolio of connected programs spanning multiple teams. You will shape long-term strategy and translate it into launch plans, while aligning with product and development and balancing technical feasibility.

You will set UX studio goals and drive efficiencies via processes and AI-enabled mechanisms. You will partner with product and engineering to surface risks, manage roadmaps, and communicate strategy with

Qualifications

6+ years of design program management experience.
Experience managing UX programs with Design and Research.
Ability to translate business and customer needs into solutions.
Ability to escalate issues, balance trade-offs and drive benefit.
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (agile to waterfall).
Knowledge of human-centered design processes.
Experience contributing to project playbooks, schedules, and stakeholder comms.

Responsibilities

Create and facilitate design thinking workshops.
Write org-level operating docs including reviews and plans.
Use AI to govern UX operations tools, frameworks and standards.
Work on programs with a high level of ambiguity.
Coordinate roadmap prioritization with design, product and dev leads.
Lead through influence across peers and partner teams.
Define and drive team and org-level goals.
Communicate program status and strategy with executives and cross-functional partners.
