Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking a senior engineer to lead discipline design on mid-to-large projects and deliver compliant, high‑quality engineering solutions.

You will develop design approaches, perform analyses, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success. The ideal candidate has a PE license, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and a proven ability to mentor teammates while delivering designs that meet codes and client expectations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required, with 12 years of discipline design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Expert in the discipline of the candidate’s expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery on moderate to large projects within your experience and expertise.
• Develop design approaches and concepts; perform engineering analyses using industry software.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs and provide input for operating procedures.
