Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking a seasoned project leader to manage scope, budgets, and schedules for complex design and infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure contract obligations are met and projects stay on track while delivering high‑quality outcomes. You will lead multi‑discipline teams, prepare proposals and plans, and drive growth through effective client engagement and cross‑functional collaboration across the firm’s

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical degree with extensive project experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure preferred for ABET‑accredited degree holders.

Responsibilities

• Confirm project scope and requirements with clients and stakeholders; document assumptions and decisions.
• Develop proposals and financial plans; prepare preliminary man-hour budgets with CRM, Department Head, or Operations Director.
• Lead effective project kick-offs to convey scope, standards, budgets, roles, risks, and expectations.
• Maintain complete project documentation and organize storage; keep logs current (RFI, submittal, decision, risk).
• Build and grow client relationships through exceptional delivery and engage in business development with current and potential clients.
