Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead high-scope, high-complexity projects and serve as the primary client contact. You will plan, execute, manage budgets, mentor junior PMs, and ensure delivery to SSR quality standards while growing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Technical or Bachelor's degree in a major technical discipline with ten years of related project experience
• Fifteen years of practical experience on similar projects
• Proven leadership as a trusted advisor to clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects of various size and complexity
• Expertise in proactively managing project financials with minimal oversight
• Professional Engineer Licensure preferred (required by those with ABET accredited degree in engineering)

Responsibilities

• Lead high-scope, high-complexity projects or multiple programs; act as primary client contact and integrator
• Plan and execute projects; proactively manage financials; mentor PMs
• Coordinate proposal phase; assist with technical documentation and presentations
• Develop financial plans by negotiating fees and budgets
• Ensure contracts are fully executed and aligned with obligations
• Build, develop, and grow client relationships; engage in business development
• Manage scope changes; develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies
• Monitor budgets and fee burn; track revenue and AR
• Oversee project closeout with documentation and lessons learned
