Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Electrical Engineer (Sports) to lead medium to large projects with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met while serving as the primary client contact. The ideal candidate brings a technical degree, PE licensure, and extensive experience in healthcare or sports facility design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a major technical discipline plus 10 years of project experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• Healthcare building design experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Confirm project scope and requirements with client and stakeholders.
• Develop financial plan for the project and participate in budgeting.
• Assist in staffing plan and man-hour budgeting with PM/CRM/Location Leader.
• Ensure a QA/QC plan is implemented for projects.
• Monitor invoices, collections, and monthly revenue projections.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients and architects and document issues.
• Monitor budget and adjust project schedules based on man-hour forecasts.
• Identify and negotiate fees for additional services as needed.
• Develop business relationships and engage in client development activities.
