Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead high-scope, multi-program efforts and serve as the primary client contact. You will plan, execute, and monitor projects, manage financials, and mentor Project Managers I and II to ensure SSR quality and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate proposals, develop budgets, and ensure contracts are executed while guiding teams across disciplines to meet schedules and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Technical or Bachelor's degree in a major technical discipline with ten years of related project experience
• Fifteen years of practical experience on similar projects
• Proven leadership as a trusted advisor to clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects of various size and complexity
• Experience proactively managing project financials with minimal oversight
• Professional Engineer Licensure preferred (required by ABET-accredited degree)

Responsibilities

• Lead high-scope, high-complexity projects or multiple programs.
• Serve as primary client contact, trusted advisor, and integrator of people, product, and profit.
• Plan and execute projects, proactively manage financials, and mentor PM I and II.
• Develop staffing plans and budgets, align teams to contractual obligations.
• Lead project kickoffs, set schedules, and monitor progress and profit targets.
• Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders; document outcomes and decisions.
• Manage scope changes, risks, and contingency plans across projects.
