Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager to guide transportation projects in the Reno, NV area. You will lead roadway teams, coordinate across disciplines, and drive design and delivery with a focus on meeting deadlines and client needs.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), 10+ years in transportation design, and 5+ years leading roadway design, with experience in DOT DB/PDB. Competitive salary and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current PE license (preferred in UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA).
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Outstanding client and personnel skills with strong communication.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge of Microstation OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and related software.
• Work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
