Job summary

Horrocks, based in Reno, NV, seeks a Design-Build Drainage Lead to head drainage design for transportation projects. In this full-time role, you will lead a team, coordinate with disciplines, and deliver hydraulic analyses, plans, and specs for DB/PDB pursuits and projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in drainage design, a PE license (preferred), and 3+ years in DOT DB/PDB settings. Local work with strong client interaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE preferred in UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and integrate into the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities.
• Work with Microstation, OpenRoads, and Civil 3D; ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain positive client relationships and meet project deadlines.
